I purchased the S715i from Amazon. As per usual, the unit arrived the next day in perfect condition. I set it up in about 1 minute and then proceeded to be absolutely amazed by the sound!

For its size, this unit produces remarkably clear audio--good, tight bass, solid mid-range, crisp treble. There is a slight reduction in bass when the unit is unplugged, but the sound is still quite good. I love the 8 plus hours you can play the unit on battery power and the portability of the unit. I currently rotate the unit between my study and my back patio.logitech promo

I play my fourth generation 16 GB iPod Nano through this unit and have been totally satisfied with all types of music from classical to Sinatra (who, I guess, is classical in his own right). The sound is clearly superior to my Bose Companion 2 computer speakers. In fact, this unit would make a great sound system for a a laptop or a PC.

logitech sale A few minor quibbles: the remote should have menu navigation features (even my cheap iPod docking station has this); the carrying case should have handle and a pocket for the remote.

All in all, a truly remarkable unit at a bargain price.
